Friends of Needy & orphan Ministries is a Non-Government Organization started up in 2019 with an aim of fighting against illiteracy and improve on the well being of orphaned children in Uganda. The idea for establishment of Friends of Needy & orphan Ministries, as a community based organization was initiated by Ms. Najjemba Florence with a burning desire of helping and supporting the critically vulnerable children,the aged,single mothers,illiterates, widowers and the unemployed youths with a comprehensive,effective and quality services. .
The greater the revelation knowledge that breaks through to man’s recreated spirit, the greater the pressure by the spiritual man to bring the will into obedience to God.

Friends of Needy has a number of Projects which help in the Organisation activities and works. Read below to know more in each of the projects.
Friends of Needy is all about Carrying out - love, peace missions and proclaiming the gospel to all nations. Demonstrate our love and live out our faith by extending care to all people, releasing them from poverty and drawing them to Jesus Christ our savior.
We provide Education facilities like school fees, scholastic materials to our children.
Friends of Needy provides Health services like medication to the vulnerable children.
We do provide food to the children in the community especially those living with single motyhers
We visit different communities, make a survey on the vulnerable people and reach out to them

Before Friends of Needy & orphan Ministry came into my life, I struggled to feed my children and afford their school fees. Thanks to their vocational training program, I learned tailoring and now run a small business in Mityana town. My children are back in school, and we no longer sleep hungry. Life was unbearable after my wife passed, leaving me with five children. I had no skills to support them. Friends of Needy & Orphan Ministries trained me in farming and gave me seeds and tools. Now, I grow vegetables and sell them at the market. My children are healthy and in school. This organization truly changes lives!
As an old woman with no family left, I depended on neighbors for food. Friends of Needy & Orphan Ministries now provides me with monthly food supplies and medical check-ups and rent. They treat me like family. Ms. Najjemba Florence has a heart of gold—may God multiply her efforts!
After losing both parents, I thought my education was over. But Friends of Needy & Orphan Ministries took me in, provided school fees, books, and even a mentor. Today, I am in Primary Two, and my dream is to become a doctor. I thank Auntie Florence Najjemba and Friends of Needy & Orphan Ministries for standing with orphans like me.
